Seattle, also known as The Emerald City, is located in Washington. The city is known for its greenery and is home to global software giant Microsoft. It also boasts of a vibrant arts scene and it is renowned for its parks.

This articles showcases the best of Seattle in terms of accommodations, points of interest and restaurants.

Seattle boasts of many top of the line hotels. Probably the best in Seattle right now, the Grand Hyatt Seattle offers top draw amenities including a mini bar, state of the art television functions and high speed internet access among others. Other sublime hotels include Inn At the Market, Hotel Monaco Seattle, Fairmont Olympic Hotel and Hotel Andra.

Among the points of interest, the Space Needle is the biggest tourist attraction. Situated 600 feet above the Seattle center, the Space Needle offers superb views of the neighbouring mountains and the famous Elliot Bay. This giant construction was originally built for the 1962 World Expo and till this day remains Seattle’s greatest landmark. The Seattle Waterfront is also a top attraction. It is home to The Seattle Aquarium and Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center. The waterfront offers stunning views of the ocean and is filled with tourist shops.

Other places worth mentioning are the Seattle Art Museum, Gas Works Park, Pacific Science Center, The Underground Tour and of course the Experience Music Project/Science Fiction Museum & Hall of Fame. This museum holds around 80000 artifacts and exhibits showcasing the various musical gems who had originated from The Emerald City.

Now turning towards the food junkies, there is an impressive array of restaurants one gets to find in and around Seattle. Among the top food servers in the city is Tai Tung, a Chinese restaurant which specializes in building relations with customers.

Tai Tung has very friendly waitstaff and a warm ambience. In fact, it is well known more for its warmth rather than its food. Other top restaurants include the Mai Phim Thai, specialists in Thai dishes, Ivars, Kisaku Sushi, El Gaucho, The Brooklyn and Palisade. Seattle offers a complete city experience to its visitors and seldom disappoints.

The Space Needle may be the most recognized and famous landmark in Seattle, but Pike Place Market is definitely more fun. And a lot of the people you will see there are locals because we love to hang out there as well!
