Four Seasons Tent Camps, Golden Triangle
The region where three countries, Thailand, Laos and Burma, meet is known as the Golden Triangle. it is an area which is rich in scenic beauty, flora and fauna and the best way to experience it is through Four Seasons tented Camps where you can live life the natural way.
Four Seasons tented camps offers 15 tents that would take you back in time. Overlooking the Ruak river of Burma and the mountains of Laos, each tent is built on an elevated hillside trail with a large outdoor deck. Each tent has a unique name after the many hillside tribes.
Although they have a common design, the interiors of every tent is different and follow a distinct and individual colour scheme.The outdoor deck has a day-bed as well as two massage beds. for all the bird watchers, a pair of binoculars are also provided in the tent.
Even though, the architecture is 19th century, all the tents are furnished with state-of-the-art technology like, air conditioning, coffee and tea making facility, cordless phones, wifi, in-tent safe and a minibar.
Four Seasons also offer two open-air spa treatment rooms complete with the rustic look, spa beds and a bathtub and shower area. relax in the lap of luxury while enjoying a holistic Thai massage or indulge in some traditional healing rituals of the area.
As there is a small inventory, the dining experience becomes a very close knit affair. and the USP of the camp is that venue for the meals keeps on changing on a daily basis so one day dinner can be a bonfire with barbecue and the next day it can be a formal sit down affair.
The camp has an open-air thatched roof restaurant by the riverside – Nong Yao which offers Choicest Thai, Laotian, Burmese and western cuisine. the restaurant also has an open fire-pit nearby where you can have some pre-dinner drinks.
There is also a lounge – Burma bar - overlooking the Ruak river. Its tranquil location and the serene ambiance makes it an ideal place to have a drink and relax… peaceful contemplative moment with the self.
Four Seasons camp also has a free-form pool which is connected to a whirlpool. the pool is located on a higher lever and overlooks the river and breathtaking scenery.
