Bloukrans Bridge Bungee Jump, South Africa:- Located in Pletternburg Bay, this is touted to be the world’s highest commercial jump by the Guinness Book of Records. Perched on the Bloukrans Bridge, there is a suspended catwalk beneath the bridge, designed especially for the jump.
An astounding 716 meters from the ground, you will see life flashing past by when you jump off this bridge. Recent additions include a cable slide to the bottom and a fly fox ride. Try them out as well.
Volcano Bungee Jump, Chile:- Touted to be the most expensive and the most dangerous jump, you will find yourself falling into a crater of molten lava from a helicopter. Located in Pucon, the volcano is active which adds to the panic. It’s a near death experience you would not want to miss for anything in the world.
The Bhote Khosi Bungee, Nepal:- This jump in Katmandu is also one of the highest jumps in the world. The suspension bridge is built right above the raging Bhote Khosi River. Along with enjoying some spectacular views of the gorge at the top of the cliff and the pristine forest, you can also enjoy white water rafting and canoeing in the rapids.
The Macau Tower, China:- Located in the town of Macau, the suspension bridge towers at a height of 762 feet at the top of the tower and stops only 30 feet from the ground. An 18 second fall will definitely bring the blood rushing to your head. Try to keep your eyes open and you may get some breathtaking views as well.
Bungy Bullet, Australia:- Try some reverse bungee jumping in Queensland. Seat yourself in a dual seat device and the next second, you will be rocketing in the air at a height of 164 feet. Not exactly the traditional form of bungee jumping, it still provides a heady experience. Alternatively, the fastest go- kart track in Australia is right next to the jump and is also a must enjoy activity.
Great Canadian Bungee, Canada:- Also called as “Goliath”, the jump starts at a staggering height of 200 feet from the top of a cliff. One of a kind and the highest in Canada, the edge of the cliff paves way for a large aqua blue lagoon. Jump off and enjoy a day by this hidden beach afterwards.
Victoria Falls Bridge, Zimbabwe:- Located at the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, this 166 meter drop is right above the raging Zambezi River. One of the highest jumps in the world, plunge right into the widest curtain of waterin the world.
007 GoldenEye Bungee Jump, Switzerland:- Take in the amazing scenery of the Swiss Alps and the surrounding landscape as you jump off the edge of the Verzasca Dam in Locarno. A full 7.5 second fall lets you enjoy nature at its best – upside down just like James Bond 007 did when he jumped off the same dam.
