Located in the eastern part of Africa, Burundi is a landlocked country and the one that enamors the travelers with sublime mountains and charming lakes. Burundi has long been out of the reach for the globe trotters due to its uncertain and tumultuous political condition. However, now that it has achieved a stable condition to some extent, Burundi has again opened its door to the abundance and magnificence of nature for the tourists.

Amid the plethora of natural attractions that Burundi offers, the capital city, Bujumbura itself is a place that will form the very center of the destinations you should visit while in Burundi. Situated on the Lake Tanganyika shore this city enjoys a lovely surrounding that offers the travelers a combo of relaxation and entertainments making a trip really enjoyable. Outside Bujumbura, there are several other destinations worth a visit that will make your Burundi travel a memorable one. Here are some of the prime attractions:

Saga Beach: Burundi has a number of exotic inland beaches. Saga beach is one of these which will no doubt offer a good time both with natural beauty and other entertainment opportunities.

Source Du Nil: Explore the southernmost origin of the famous Nile River at Source Du Nil. This will at once be a nice entertaining and adventure trip you would enjoy in Burundi.

You can also make some time and visit the Parc National de la Kibira to get acquainted with the ancient vegetation of Burundi.
