Edinburgh and the Lothians takes one back to a time when people rode on horse carriages reminding one of the rich past Scotland has been through. Edinburgh Castle is one of the many castles that Scotland is home to.

The castle on top of Royal Mile is the most famous attraction of the city. The palace of Holyroodhouse, the Royal Mile, the National Botanic Garden, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, the Museum of Scotland and The Royal Lyceum are some other places of the city that are worth a watch.

On the Northwest Coast of Scotland lies a string of islands popularly known as The Outer Hebrides. The cluster of 119 islands spreads to about 130 miles and dazzles the tourists with its white-sand beaches.
